Overview

NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is conducted for providing admissions in  various undergraduate medical courses (MBBS)  and dental courses (BDS) in government or private medical and dental colleges in India. NEET  is a single entrance test for admissions to around 1,00,000 MBBS & 27,000 BDS & 52,000 AYUSH seats across India.    NEET replaced AIPMT (All India Pre Medical Test) and other state-level examinations. Answer: The format of NEET is multiple-choice questions (MCQs). There are a total of 180 questions in the test, of which 90 are from physics, chemistry and biology. The duration of the exam is three and half hours.
